Favorite Button Project

Yesterday I gave you a challenge: share your favorite button with the world. Send you entries to me or post directly to the facebook page. I've already shared mine, let's see yours!

Also, we started an album of button eye candy this morning. Feel free to send images of your eye candy to add to the album.

Check both projects out on the facebook page (click here)

Happy Buttoning,
Kelly (your Vice President)

Seeking Submissions for the 2015 Bulletin

It's that time again buttonologists. We're actively seeking submissions for our 2015 bulletin. Deadline for submissions is roughly March 1st (a necessity to ensure your bulletin is ready for the April show!). Articles should be sent to either the Editor or the Vice President. We welcome informational articles, personal stories, interesting facts, fun button photos, etc. Photography assistance is available as needed. We will be publishing in COLOR again this year! Those interested in advertising should contact the Vice President for more information. Letters to our annual advertisers should be going out in the mail soon.

I'd also like to take a moment to welcome you to our new website. It's been a while since we've had an online presence outside of Facebook and it's been noted that information was difficult to find on our page. We hope our new blog will provide a clearer format for sharing news and information with you. With that in mind, please understand that our site is still in development. If you'd like to see something in particular, feel free to send us a message using the contact field at the right or through Facebook.

As a club we've recently come to the conclusion that we need to begin the process of preserving our history. If you have any memorabilia associated with MSBS or any of the current/past local clubs in the state, consider sharing it so it can be preserved. Interesting historical snippets will be shared here. All memorabilia will be digitally preserved through scanning or photography. All articles will be returned to their respective owners. If you are interested in sharing something or helping with preservation efforts, contact the Vice President.
