About Us
Founded in 1942, the Massachusetts State Button Society (MSBS) has brought button lovers together for over seventy years. There are four shows each year where our members meet, learn, buy and sell buttons, and, most importantly, have fun. There are no admissions to the shows and everyone is welcome. Membership is not required to attend a show, however, becoming a member insures you receive our information packed annual bulletin. Three of four shows have an informational program and the fourth is our annual auction, usually in September. Members are encouraged to bring items to auction (they need not be button related) and all proceeds go to MSBS. Programs take place after lunch. Attendees should bring their own lunches, though we have an absolutely fabulous potluck lunch at the July show. Dessert and breakfast snacks are provided by the hosting local club. For more information about the local clubs in Massachusetts, see our Local Clubs page.
